The Muchmore Family Association is organized as a not-for-profit corporation. The object of the MFA is to perpetuate genealogy of the Family lines by:

  • Cementing ties of fellowship and kinship between living members of the Family.
  • Maintaining Family unity through frequent association in a social manner.
  • Compiling an acceptable record of Family descendants and ancestors.
  • Unifying all genealogical, historical and biographical research attendant to the compiling of an acceptable Family record.
  • Pooling the resources and efforts of the members of the Family so that the history and genealogy of our ancestors may be passed on to all descendants.


----- SPELLING   VARIATIONS -----

The following list of spelling variations was presented at the organizational meeting of the Muchmore Family Association held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in September 1991:
"Upon going through old documents and books, including New Hampshire Province records, Gosport New Hampshire town records, court records, and church, town and New Hampshire records of births, deaths, census and a copy of marriages from England, the following spellings of the Muchemore name have been found"
