All related spellings of the Muchmore name are considered a part of the family as well as allied lines through marriage. In other words, all descendants of any Muchmore spelling are considered "family".

Currently, there are several unrelated lines in the US, Canada, Australia and England. It is the desire of the MFA to eventually be able to unite these various lines.

The genealogies located and maintained at this specific internet domain site purposely exclude any data on living descendants. This is to protect their privacy. The data for the living can generally be made available, as appropriate, to other family members and/or researchers, with the written permission of those individual(s) directly involved.

Complete and total accuracy in genealogy is always a noble goal, though rarely completely achieved in practice. However, that goal always directs our efforts to be as accurate and responsible as possible with the information available to us.
